Problems solved by technology

[0004] At present, the research work on insect insulin-like peptides is still in its infancy, and the research objects are mainly limited to a few species of Diptera, Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, and Hemiptera, and no Neuroptera insects have been involved.
Moreover, related reports only explored the physiological functions of insulin-like peptides, and did not involve the application of insulin-like peptides in insect feeding

Abstract

Insect insulin-like peptides (ILPs) widely participate in regulation and control of insects' physiological processes such as growth, development, reproduction and the like. Chrysopa septempunctate is an important predator insect. The invention discloses chrysopa septempunctate insulin-like peptide-1 gene cDNA. A chrysopa septempunctate insulin-like peptide-1, which has bioactivity, is obtained through combination of artificial synthesis and in-vitro assembling; and an egg laying amount of an adult female chrysopa septempunctate, taking the insulin-like peptide-1, can be increased by 31.1%. The chrysopa septempunctate insulin-like peptide-1, which is applicable to regulation and control of such physiological processes as laying eggs, diapause, becoming aged and the like of the chrysopa septempunctate or other insects, has a good application prospect in large-scale production of insects.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of insect physiology and molecular biology, and in particular relates to a cDNA of a lacewing insulin-like peptide-1 gene and an application thereof. Background technique [0002] Lacewings are important predatory natural enemies of agricultural, forestry, fruit and vegetable pests in my country, belonging to Neuroptera. The large lacewing has a large predation capacity, a wide distribution, strong adaptability, and both adults and larvae can prey, so it has great application potential. Natural enemy insects, including lacewings, occupy an important strategic position in the field of biological control of agricultural pests. [0003] Vertebrate insulin (Insulin) plays an important role in the process of glucose metabolism and has been widely used in the treatment of diabetes. Insects can also synthesize protein hormones similar to vertebrate insulin, called insulin-like peptides (Insulin-like Peptides, ILPs). Studi...
