Embodiment Construction

[0017] (1) The overall structure of the absorbent article

[0018] refer to Figure 1 ~ Figure 3 The overall structure of the absorbent article 1 according to the embodiment will be described. In addition, in description of the following drawings, the same or similar reference numerals are attached|subjected to the same or similar part. However, the drawings are schematic, and it should be noted that ratios of dimensions and the like are different from actual ratios. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined in consideration of the following description. In addition, parts where the relationship and ratio of mutual dimensions are different may be included between drawings.

Abstract

Provided is an absorbent article that can suppress leakage from the rear of the article when a user is lying face-up. An absorbent article (1) has: a first curved part (41) that extends in the width direction (W) and that is further to the rear side than the longitudinal-direction (L) center of a wing (3) and further to the front side than the rear edge of an absorption core; and a second curved part (42) that extends in the width direction (W) and is positioned further rearward than the first curved part (41). The absorbent article (1) has: a first region (R1) that is adjacent to the first curved part (41) to the front of the first curved part (41); a second region (R2) that is adjacent to the second curved part (42) to the rear of the second curved part (42); and an intermediate region (R3) that is positioned between the first curved part (41) and the second curved part (42) in the longitudinal direction (L). The weight per unit area of the absorption material in the intermediate region (R3) is lower than the weight per unit area of the absorption material in the first region (R1) and is lower than the weight per unit area of the absorption material in the second region (R2). The length of the intermediate region (R3) in the longitudinal direction (L) is longer than the thickness of an absorption body (30) at the portion of the first region (R1) that is adjacent to the first curved part (41).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins. Background technique [0002] Absorbent articles for night use are used with the wearer lying down, and are used for a longer period of time than absorbent articles for daily use. Therefore, when using an absorbent article for night use, back leakage tends to occur. Patent Document 1 discloses an absorbent article for night use that prevents back leakage. [0003] The absorbent article of Patent Document 1 has: a discharge part facing part arranged to face a wearer's liquid discharge part; and a rear part arranged on the back side of the discharge part facing part. A plurality of high-density portions and low-density portions extending in the width direction are formed in a portion located in the rear portion of the absorber. In the absorbent article of Patent Document 1, when the bodily fluid flows to the rear, the high-density portion with a relatively high density retai...
