Problems solved by technology

If you want to avoid obstacles, you first need to be able to accurately identify obstacles and terrain. At present, the commonly used methods for identifying terrain and obstacles include radar systems based on ultrasonic, microwave, and laser detection. Specific information on terrain and obstacles
Another method uses a single camera. Although it can obtain intuitive information, what a single camera collects is only plane information, without depth of field, and it is difficult to judge the distance between multiple obstacles.

Embodiment Construction

[0023] The specific implementation manners of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. The following examples are used to illustrate the present invention, but are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

[0024] figure 1 A dual-camera three-dimensional recognition patrol robot is shown, including:

[0025] A pair of cameras arranged at a certain distance on the patrol robot for collecting image information of obstacles in front; the pair of cameras are arranged on both sides of the patrol robot;

[0026] The positioning module is used to obtain the position information of the patrol robot;

[0027] The video processing module is used to calculate the depth of field difference of every two feature points according to the imaging distance of every two feature points in each camera and the fixed distance between the two cameras on the image information; as figure 2 As show...

Abstract

The invention provides a double-camera three-dimensional recognition patrol robot which comprises a pair of cameras, a positioning module, a video processing module and a central control module. The cameras are separated from each other by a certain distance, are arranged on the patrol robot and are used for acquiring image information of forward obstacles; the positioning module is used for acquiring positional information of the patrol robot; the video processing module is used for computing scene depth difference between every two corresponding feature points on the image information according to imaging distances of the two feature points in each camera and the fixed distance between the two cameras; the central control module is used for acquiring three-dimensional information of the forward obstacles according to the scene depth difference between every two corresponding feature points in the forward image information and adjusting patrol tracks of the patrol robot according to the positional information. The double-camera three-dimensional recognition patrol robot has the advantages that depth difference between every two corresponding feature points is computed, the three-dimensional information of the forward obstacles is acquired, and accordingly foundations can be laid for patrol robot navigation; the position of a body of the patrol robot can be acquired, and accordingly the patrol tracks can be planned and adjusted again for the forward obstacles.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of robots, and more specifically, to a dual-camera three-dimensional identification patrol robot. Background technique [0002] The development of robot technology is a comprehensive result of the development of science and technology, and it is a science and technology that has had a major impact on social and economic development. The development of the economy has changed the composition of the human social structure, and today's human beings have increasingly strong needs for security, and under the wave of intelligent development, the trend of using robots to replace traditional security personnel has become more and more obvious. [0003] One of the foundations of robot intelligence in today's technological environment lies in the ability to move on its own and effectively avoid various obstacles. If you want to avoid obstacles, you first need to be able to accurately identify obstacles and terrain. A...
