Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a device and a method for fear test. The device comprises: an approximation fear test device, an observation fear test device, and a decision region device. The decision region device is arranged between the approximation fear test device and the observation fear test device. The approximation fear test device comprises an approximation cabin and an approximation simulation device in the approximation cabin. The observation fear test device comprises an observation cabin and an electric shock device. The decision region device comprises a decision region cabin and a heating device on the bottom of the decision region cabin. The decision region cabin is communicated with the approximation cabin and the observation cabin. The device and the method realize instinct fear test and social fear test on a same experimental animal, and meanwhile, through the decision region device, selection of instinct fear and social fear of the experimental animal is observed and researched, so as to improve effect of fear tests. The device and the method achieve an objective of deep research on instinct fear and social fear at the same time.
