The invention discloses a distribution network running state assessing and pre-warning method based on big data. An assessing and pre-warning mechanism, which is mainly used for monitoring the current running state of a distribution network to guarantee safe running of the distribution network, is mainly composed of a data processing module, a running state assessing module, a risk pre-warning module, an operating control module, and the like. First, given index parameters are synthesized through principal component analysis; then, a function relation between the comprehensive score and each index data is mined based on the algorithm thought of gene expression programming; and finally, the current running state data of a distribution network is input to the function relation, the current running state risk level of the distribution network is assessed according to the calculation result, and feasible reference opinions are given. Thus, users and decision makers are helped to better plan and manage the whole distribution network, and the distribution network can run more efficiently and more safely.
