Abstract

Provided is a fishing line guide having a mounting foot which, although having a small thickness and a small length, has high strength. A fishing line guide (200) has: at least one support leg (230) extending from a ring holding section (220); a mounting foot (240) located at the termination end of the support leg (230) and mounted to a fishing rod; and a reinforcement groove (250) formed in the mounting foot (240). The mounting foot (240) has: a lower surface coming into contact with a part of the fishing rod; an upper surface (242) located on the side opposite the lower surface in the thickness direction; one end (243) connecting to the termination end of the support leg (230); and the other end (244) located on the side opposite said end (243) in the longitudinal direction. The reinforcement groove (250) is located in the lower surface of the mounting foot (240) and extends in the longitudinal direction of the mounting foot (240) from said end (243) toward the other end (244). A part of the support leg (230) and the mounting leg (240) consist of a metallic material.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a fishing line guide that attaches to a fishing rod and guides fishing line and a method of manufacturing the fishing line guide. Furthermore, the invention relates to a fishing rod comprising a fishing line guide. Background technique [0002] A line guide is attached to a fishing rod to guide the fishing line along the rod as it is unwound from the spool or rewound onto the spool. The line guide has a guide ring through which the fishing line is passed and a frame which is attached to the fishing rod and which supports the guide ring. The frame of the fishing line guide is made of metal material or plastic material. [0003] Figure 19 A prior art line guide is shown comprising a frame made of metal. Figure 19 The fishing line guide 20 shown in has a guide ring 21 through which the fishing line passes, a ring holding portion 22 holding the guide ring 21, a supporting leg 23 extending from the ring holding portion 2...
