Abstract

The invention discloses an iris recognition image quality indication method and device. The method comprises the steps that the iris image of a user is acquired; the image quality of the iris image is determined; and the display quality of a guidance image displayed on a display screen is adjusted according to the image quality of the iris image so that the image quality of the iris image is indicated through the display quality of the guidance image. Therefore, the display quality of the guidance image can be dynamically adjusted according to the image quality of the iris image of the user and then the image quality of the iris image is indicated through the display quality of the guidance image, e.g. the guidance image of low resolution and small size is displayed when the image quality of the iris image is low, then the user subconsciously adjusts his observation position for clearly seeing the guidance image displayed on the display screen of terminal equipment, e.g. the eyes are closer to the terminal equipment, and the user is guided to adjust the observation positions of the eyes to the range of iris recognition in the process.
