Abstract

The invention relates to the field of urban viaduct outgoing service technology, and particularly to a viaduct travel time short-term forecasting method based on a traffic scene radar. The method comprises the following steps of 1), performing installation, disposition and debugging of the traffic scene radar; 2), transmitting data which are acquired by the traffic scene radar; 3), calculating an average travel time of a viaduct section in a single sampling period; 4), calculating the travel time of the viaduct in the single sampling period; and 5), calculating a viaduct travel time predicated period. The viaduct travel time short-term forecasting method can realize forecast on future travel time of the viaduct section according to traffic information which is acquired by the traffic scene radar, thereby facilitating selection of an optimal driving router according to an actual outgoing time requirement, and reducing time delay in outgoing. Furthermore the viaduct travel time short-term forecasting method supplies basis for balancing traffic flow, alleviating traffic jam on a road, optimizing a traffic management solution, improving traffic control, etc.
