Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a synchronous play method and device. The method comprises following steps of receiving access requests sent by terminal devices, wherein attribute information of the terminal devices and selected video information for play are carried in the access requests; judging whether current time is in the allowed access time period corresponding to a video for play or not according to the selected video information for play and an allowed access time period corresponding to each locally stored video; judging whether the terminal devices can access or not according to the attribute information of the terminal devices and the video for play if the current time is in the allowed access time period corresponding to the video for play; and providing the data of the corresponding video for play to the terminal devices according to the current time if the terminal devices can access. Through application of the embodiment of the method and the device, the corresponding video data is provided for the terminal devices satisfying access conditions by setting the access conditions; the play progress differences among the terminals resulting from resource differences of the terminal devices can be avoided; and the synchronous play among multiple terminal devices can be realized.
