According to the cyclic operation state testing system, a user layer carries out selection of operation states to be tracked, connection confirmation of equipment and setting of basic parameters; an execution layer analyzes actual vehicle CAN signals received from a real-time controller according to settings of the user layer, the related parameters, obtained through analysis, of a motor and an engine are used for judgment of the work modes of the hybrid electric bus, and the vehicle speed signals obtained through analysis are used for vehicle speed display; and the real-time vehicle speed analyzed out by the execution layer, the standard operation state vehicle speed to be tracked and the boundary vehicle speed to be tracked are displayed in an oscillogram of a display layer, and meanwhile the equipment connection state, the actual vehicle speed value, the number of times of vehicle speed overrun and the work mode are displayed in real time.
