Problems solved by technology

[0010] However, the zoom lenses of Patent Documents 1 to 3 all have large F-numbers on the telephoto side, and have insufficient performance regarding correction of various aberrations and fluctuations in aberrations during focusing.
In addition, although the zoom lens of Patent Document 4 has a small F-number in the entire zoom range, its performance regarding correction of various aberrations and fluctuations in aberrations during focusing is not sufficient.

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a zoom lens having a small F value throughout the entire zoom range, which favorably corrects various aberrations, and exhibits small fluctuations in aberrations during focusing operations. The present disclosure also provides an imaging apparatus equipped with such a zoom lens. The zoom lens includes, in order from the object side: a positive first lens group (G1); a negative second lens group (G2); a positive third lens group (G3); a negative fourth lens group (G4); and a positive fifth lens group (G5). The distance between the first and second lens groups constantly increases, the distance between the second and third lens groups constantly decreases, the distance between the third and fourth lens groups constantly changes, and the distance between the fourth and fifth lens groups constantly increases when changing magnification from the wide angle to the telephoto end. The first lens group includes, in order from the object side, a negative lens, a positive lens, and a positive lens. The fourth lens group includes, in order from the object side, a negative lens, a negative lens, and a positive lens, and moves toward the image side when focusing from a far distance to a close distance.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a zoom lens particularly suitable for a digital camera, a lens interchangeable digital camera, a camera for cinematography, and the like, and an imaging device including the zoom lens. Background technique [0002] The lenses described in Patent Documents 1 to 4 are known as five-unit zoom lenses used in digital cameras, interchangeable lens digital cameras, cinematography cameras, and the like. [0003] prior art literature [0004] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-287681 [0005] Patent Document 2: Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 61-286813 [0006] Patent Document 3: Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2014-102526 [0007] Patent Document 4: Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2013-182246 [0008] In recent years, digital cameras, digital cameras with interchangeable lenses, cameras for cinematography, etc. have been increasing in pixels, and zoom lenses used in these cameras are also required to be well co...
