Benefits of technology

This patented technology improves how plants produce certain compounds called flavonoids that help fight diseases caused by excessive levels of harmful substances found in waterways or other areas where they live (such as fish). By comparing different samples from this new method against each others, it can be shown that these methods have improved overall effectiveness over existing treatment techniques such as activated sludge systems.

Problems solved by technology

This patents discusses various methods for treating harmful substances like ammonium (NH3) or urea nitrosate (UN). These contaminations can lead to health issues if they stay inside fish products stored at refrigerators without being removed properly from them before consumption. Current techniques involve removing these materials through different processes involving physical means like filtration, adhesion on surfaces, use of activated carbon filters, ion exchange resins, electrocatalysts, hydrolysis, and other technical solutions. However, each technique faces challenges related to its effectiveness against specific types of contaminating agents while requiring strict regulations regarding their operation parameters.

Embodiment 1

[0018] (1) Soak 25 corn seeds in 250ml 5mmol / L potassium nitrate solution and shake on the shaker;

[0019] (2) Transfer the corn seeds in step (1) to a watch glass with damp filter paper, the water in the watch glass keeps the filter paper just moist, and the watch glass is placed under dark conditions;

[0020] (3) After 7 days, transfer the corn seeds in step (2) to a flat-bottomed vessel with wet filter paper, and keep the filter paper just moist with the water in the flat-bottomed vessel;

[0021] (4) Place the corn seeds in step (3) in a greenhouse with day-off lights, and the intensity of care is 340 μmol.m -2 .s -1 , the greenhouse temperature was 20° C., and corn plants were obtained after 14 days.

Embodiment 2

[0023] The difference between this example and Example 1 lies in that the concentration of the potassium nitrate solution in step (1) is 10 mmol / L.

Embodiment 3

[0025] The difference between this example and Example 1 lies in that the concentration of the potassium nitrate solution in step (1) is 25 mmol / L.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of waste water processing, and especially relates to a method for obtaining plant capable of efficiently absorbing nitrate. The method comprises the following steps: 1) using a potassium nitrate solution for immersing the plant seeds under dark condition and vibrating by a shaking table; 2) transferring the seeds in the step 1) to a watch glass with wet filter paper; 3) after 7 days, transferring the seeds in the step 2) to a flat vessel with the wet filter paper; and 4) placing the seeds in the step 3) in a warm room with irritation of a fluorescent lamp. Compared with a blank sample, the total phenols substance in the plant is increased, and total antioxidation substance activity is increased; activity of nitrate reductase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase and succinic dehydrogenase is increased, content of total proline is increased, activity of proline dehydrogenase is increased; the activity of superoxide dismutase, catalase and guaiacol oxidase is increased, and the above biochemical indexes are effective when waste water containing ammonia nitrogen and nitrate is processed.
