Abstract

The invention discloses a plate connecting method capable of using prepressing holes of a soft rivet column and riveting compounding. The plate connecting method comprises the following steps: a connecting point is generated on an upper plate and a lower plate by adopting the prepressing holes, mechanical deformation is generated between the upper plate and the lower plate to form embedment, and thus the upper plate is connected with the lower plate together; the connecting point formed by connecting the upper plate and the lower plate through the prepressing holes is reversely buckled up on the rivet column to ensure the rivet column to be arranged in a pit formed in the upper plate; the upper plate, the lower plate and the rivet column are arranged between an upper mold and a lower mold; the upper mold moves downwards through a riveting process and extrudes the upper plate, the lower plate and the rivet column with matching of the lower mold, so that the rivet column has plastic deformation, is embedded into the upper plate and presses the upper plate to be further embedded into the lower plate at the connecting point to ensure increase of the connecting strength; and the height of a salient formed on the lower plate lowers under the pressure action of the upper mode.
