Abstract

The seat assembly comprises at least one seat structure (36), which has a seat backrest (42) forming a backrest surface (44), a seat cushion element (46) for forming a seat surface (48), and a passenger space partition (38), which is arranged to spatially partition a passenger space (40) of the seat (32) and which at least partially surrounds the seat structure (36) and leaves open an access (34) to the seat structure (36). The seat cushion element (46) is moveable between a comfort position (60) in which the seat cushion element (46) projects further into the access (34) to provide a larger seat surface (48), and an access position (58) in which the seat cushion element (46) does not project as far or does not project at all into the access (34) to provide a wider access (34).
