Abstract

The application discloses an application folder merging method and system. The method comprises: when it is detected that an application folder on a desktop is moved, determining a target application folder by determining whether an end position of the moved application folder is in a preset merging region of the application folder; when it is determined that a user needs to merge the moved application folder and the target application folder, unbinding the moved application folder to obtain an application; and finally, moving and placing the application into the target application folder to complete application folder merging. It can be seen that, according to the application folder merging method and system provided by the invention, applications in one application folder can be merged into another application folder all at once, so that compared with that in the prior art, the whole merging process is faster, thus improving merging efficiency.
