Abstract

The invention provides a species-specific primer pair, a kit and an identification method for quickly identifying Bactrocera scutellata. Sequences of specific primers JF190 and JR386 are JF190: 5'-CAGTTGGTTAGTACCCTTAGTACTCGG-3'; and JR386: 5'-GATCAACAGATGCTCCTCCATGGG-3', respectively. The invention has the advantages that the species-specific primer pair is more specific, is able to amplify only Bactrocera scutellata, is capable of amplifying a specific band 197bp in length, is unable to amplify closely related species of Bactrocera scutellata, and is higher in amplifying efficiency; operating is simple, fast and efficient; the species-specific primer pair is higher in sensitivity, has higher practical value, is capable of accurately, quickly and specifically detecting various states of Bactrocera scutellata and even wrack thereof, and has a wide detection range.
