Abstract

The invention provides a mechanism of coordinating DRX information in a dual connectivity system. A method of coordinating DRX information of a UE in a master e NB of a dual connectivity system includes: A. receiving first information characterizing a DRX state of the UE for a secondary e NB or transmitting second information, determined by the master e NB, indicating a DRX state of the UE for the master e NB to the secondary e NB; and B. the master e NB exchanging DRX configuration information for the UE with the secondary e NB. With the mechanism of coordinating DRX information according to the invention, dynamic power management of the UE can be enabled to thereby save power consumption of the UE and also improve the transmission efficiency of information.
