Abstract

The present invention belongs to the technical field of traffic, and especially relates to a method for achieving vehicle source prediction by calculating an O-D flow based on mobile phone data. The method comprises: a first step of mining position information of mobile phone data; a second step of building a resident travel model based on the mobile phone data; a third step of estimating a motor vehicle travel O-D matrix; a fourth step of predicting urban road vehicle sources of the resident travel model based on traffic demands; and a fifth step of analyzing vehicle source distribution leading to jam based on a vehicle source prediction theory. The method of the present invention can provide faster and more accurate information support for traffic organization and allocation, and provides an economic and feasible new method for traffic demand prediction.
