Abstract

The invention discloses a new mainframe configuration method based on OpenStack, and the OpenStack is configured with a dashboard module, a Nova module and a database. The configuration process comprises the following steps: (1) intercepting an application of creating a mainframe from the dashboard module; (2) after obtaining configuration information on a configuration interface of a temporary mainframe, generating a configuration template file to replace the dashboard module, logging the configuration information into the database, and initiating an application of creating the mainframe to a Nova-api module; (3) after the application is responded by the Nova-api module, returning the control right to the dashboard module, and completing the subsequent interactive operation by the dashboard module.
