Abstract

The method comprises the following implementation steps: (1) generating a detecting reference signal by a terminal according to the bandwidth requirement of a system, mapping the detecting reference signal into a data signal in an interlacing manner and transmitting the data signal; (2) extracting a real part and an imaginary part of the received data signal by a base station, respectively performing cross-correlation operation on the real part and the imaginary part of the received data signal and the real part and the imaginary part of a known detecting reference signal, and adding a real part correlation operation result to an imaginary part correlation operation result; (3) finding a maximum peak position, namely the initial position of the detecting reference signal, in a timing metric function by utilizing a peak joint detection method.
