Embodiment Construction

[0035] The technical solutions of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0036] The data selected in this embodiment are the sea clutter data collected by the fully coherent X-band IPIX radar in the Atlantic Bay of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada during November, 1993.

[0037] Sea clutter is affected by factors such as wind and waves, and the difference in distance will also cause different degrees of "roughness" in the echo. There are 14 different sea conditions and range gates in the measured sea clutter data used in the experiment, and the primary and secondary targets belong to different range units. Comparison of the distance gates (1, 2, 3, 4, 13, 14) shared by Qingchunhai clutter. Such as figure 1 As shown, under the same sea condition, the fractal characteristics of each range gate of pure sea clutter are consistent, and the Hurst exponent of the main target is larger than that of pure sea clutter as a...

Abstract

The invention discloses a small target fractal detection method under a sea clutter background. The method sequentially includes the steps of inputting radar data, performing FRFT transform, analyzing tendency fluctuation to evaluate fractal dimension, finding the most transform order and judging whether a small target exists according to the Hurst index of each range gate. The small target fractal detection method utilizes the fractional order Fourier transform theory and combines with the fractal features of the sea clutter in the fractional order Fourier transform region, so that the problems that the traditional method is seriously influenced by sea conditions and insufficient in generalization.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of radar, and in particular relates to a small target fractal detection method under the sea clutter background. Background technique [0002] Sea clutter refers to the echo scattered by radar after irradiating the sea surface. It is affected by various factors such as wind and waves. The measured sea clutter has characteristics similar to noise, and the traditional spectrum analysis method is not applicable. How to accurately and reliably find small targets from complex sea conditions has become the current research focus in the field of radar signal processing. At present, the detection of small targets in sea clutter mostly relies on statistical modeling, such as statistical models such as normal distribution and related K distribution, and detects small targets by checking the changes in distribution characteristics. Most of the detection models are based on a stable sea surface. Waves are affected by m...
