Abstract

The invention provides a task execution method and device based on message queues. The message queues corresponding to the tasks are configured by an ERP (enterprise resource planning) system. The configuration message of the message queue includes queue message and calling message. The task execution method includes that the ERP system receives an execution command of a first task; according to the execution command, a second task associated with the first task from a business process table pre-configured for the first task; after executes the first task, the ERP system determines a first message queue corresponding to the first task, and according to the queue message of the first message queue, the second task is sent into the first message queue; scheduling message of the first message queue is called to execute the second task of the first message queue. According to the arrangement, the problems of the prior art of long waiting time for the user and slow operation speed and down-time are solved, and accordingly user experiences are improved.
