Abstract

The invention relates to a device for aiding inflation (100) of an inflatable item (10) via a cartridge of compressed air (C), said device (100) comprising: an inflatable item (10), a receptacle (20) containing a compressed air cartridge (C) and comprising: a perforating means (28) configured to perforate said cartridge (C) and release the compressed air, at least one discharge hole for discharging the air into the inflatable item (10), a protection cap (32) assembled so that it is sealed against the receptacle (20). The invention is characterised in that the protection cap (32) comprises an actuating means (40) which, when actuated, results in the perforation of the cartridge (C).
