Abstract

The infusion monitoring instrument comprises an infusion tube clamp block, two light emitting tubes, two light-receiving tubes, and a square wave generator and an amplifier which are disposed on a circuit board inside the instrument. A vertical infusion tube groove is formed in the clamp block provided with an upper light hole and a lower light hole. The amplifier is used for amplifying optical control signals taken out from the upper light-receiving tube or the lower light-receiving tube. A voltage retainer, a voltage comparator and a NAND gate circuit for controlling opening of an alarming circuit are further disposed on the circuit board. Compared with the prior art, the infusion monitoring instrument has the advantages that the infusion monitoring instrument can be used by clamping the infusion tube clamp block to the infusion tube near the bottom of an infusion bottle, the aperture of the upper light hole and the lower light hole is elongated, accurate liquid coming detection is achieved, liquid coming can be detected twice, an alarm can be given when any one light path detects the liquid coming, and detection missing possibility is reduced greatly.
