Abstract

The growth regulator has the beneficial effects that the peanuts treated with the regulator in the mature periods have obviously higher leaf chlorophyll contents, net photosynthetic rates and root activities than control groups, have obviously higher leaf SOD (superoxide dismutase) activities and POD (peroxidase) activities than the control groups and have obviously lower malondialdehyde contents than the control groups, indicating that the regulator can well remove oxygen free radicals and delay senescence; the regulator obviously promotes accumulation of dry matters of pods and synthesis of proteins and fat of seed kernels and has important function of promoting increase of yield and improvement of product quality.
