[0065] Adaptive notch filters advantageously improve the amount of interference of a particular type removed from an input signal to produce a signal of interest. The input signal received by the adaptive notch filter includes a first signal component and a second signal component. The adaptive notch filter selectively filters one of the first component or the second component from the input signal to produce a target signal including components of the input signal not filtered out by the adaptive notch filter.
