A Cloud Foundry platform application scheduling system comprises a Cloud Foundry Java building package matching device, a JMX (java management extension) application information acquiring device and an application strategy scheduling device, wherein the Cloud Foundry Java building package matching device is used for adding configuration information to a Cloud Foundry Java building package; the JMX application information acquiring device is used for collecting application JMX information; and the application strategy scheduling device is used for dynamically scheduling application running instance number according to the JMX information collected from the JMX application information acquiring device and a set application strategy. The invention also provides a Cloud Foundry platform application scheduling method. By using the technology, the application instance number can be dynamically adjusted according to running real-time information and load real-time information of application on the basis of a certain strategy, so that application load is automatically balanced.
