The mechanized seedling transplanting technique comprises the following steps of: (1) curling a whole tray of cultured potted blanket seedlings and conveying the potted blanket seedlings onto a seedling box plate of a seedling transplanter; (2) taking the potted blanket seedlings out of the seedling box plate by a seedling capture mechanism of the seedling transplanter and then putting the potted blanket seedlings on a primary seedling conveying belt of the seedling transplanter, wherein the included angle between the primary seedling conveying belt and the ground of a paddy field is adjustable; (3) conveying the potted blanket seedlings to a secondary seedling conveying belt of the seedling transplanter by the first seedling conveying belt; and (4) conveying the potted blanket seedlings to the ground of the paddy field at a certain speed by the secondary seedling conveying belt, wherein the direction of motion of the potted blanket seedlings is perpendicular to the ground of the paddy field at the moment that the potted blanket seedlings leave the secondary seedling conveying belt.
