Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for predicting video image components. The method comprises: obtaining a luminance component value of an image block; obtaining a first numerical value a3 through a linear regression technology based on a luminance component value and a chrominance component value of a sampling point in an application template, changing numerical precision after compensating the first numerical value a3 so as to obtain a first parameter alpha and a third parameter k; obtaining a second parameter beta of a linear model based on the first parameter alpha and the third parameter k; obtaining a predicted value of a chrominance component of the image block through the linear model based on the luminance component value of the image block, the first parameter alpha, the third parameter k and the second parameter beta. The technical solution enhances encoding performance by improving a parameter in the linear model used at the time of predicting the video image components, and meanwhile lowers complexity of the device using the predicting method.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of video, and more particularly, to a method and device for predicting video image components. Background technique [0002] Existing video image coding and decoding technologies include intra-frame coding technology and inter-frame coding technology. Intra-frame coding refers to the technique of compressing and coding image content by using only the spatial correlation in the currently coded image. Inter-frame coding refers to the technique of compressing and coding the current image by using the temporal correlation between the currently coded image and the coded image. In order to improve the intra-frame coding efficiency of images, international video coding standards, such as H.264 / AVC (Advanced Video Coding, advanced video coding), introduce intra-frame prediction technology to remove the spatial information between the current coded image block and the adjacent coded image blocks redundancy. Therefor...
