The network dormancy method based on the OSEK standard comprises the following steps: classifying ECUs to different local fields, loading personal identification, the identification of the local fields, the identification of states, and subsequent ECU identification in a first network management message produced by the ECUs, judging based on the first network management message, producing a dormancy order when all the ECUs in a local field meet dormancy conditions, and enabling all the ECUs in the local field to enter a dormancy state. Only if all the ECUs in the local field meet dormancy conditions, the ECUs in the local field enter the dormancy state through the network dormancy method based on the OSEK standard.
