Abstract

The invention provides a two-generation/third-generation (2/3G) wireless module diagnosis test method and device. Wireless module registering, general packet radio service (GPRS) network attachment, power distribution plan (PDP) activation, point-to-point protocol (PPP) dialing, transmission control protocol (TCP) connection and PING test are respectively tested and diagnosed, so that results are supplied. The method and the device have the beneficial effects that wireless diagnosis/test service contents are split into a plurality of parts of a 2/3G communication flow, which are executed step by step, and a diagnosis result is searched; the results are concluded, so that a positioning problem can be found out, and a diagnosis scheme can be automatically supplied; diagnosis and test for wireless communication in a target terminal (such as a point of service (POS) machine) can be effectively realized; and the testable wireless communication comprises contents of an application layer, a transmission layer and a 2/3G protocol stack layer and is relatively comprehensive and reliable.
