Embodiment Construction

[0016] figure 1 A partial view of a timepiece movement 1 to be installed in a timepiece according to the invention is shown. Movement 1 preferably comprises a resonator 3 comprising a balance 5 and a balance spring 7 for regulating said movement. The resonator 3 is preferably mounted between the bridge 2 and the base plate 4 .

[0017] figure 1 It is also shown that movement 1 preferably comprises an escapement system 9 comprising a Swiss pallet lever 11 and an escape wheel 13 for distributing the movements of said movement. An escapement 9 is preferably mounted between the two bars 6 , 8 and the bottom plate 4 .

[0018] Advantageously according to the invention, balance spring 7 is formed of a ferromagnetic material, such as Nivarox CT, Elinvar, Ni-Span C or Coelinvar, among others. Thus, despite the strong ferromagnetic properties of balance spring 7 , movement 1 according to the invention advantageously has a very low magnetic sensitivity.

Abstract

The invention relates to a timepiece movement (1) comprising a sprung (7) balance (5) resonator (3) mounted between a bar (2) and a bottom plate (4) wherein the balance (7) is formed from a ferromagnetic material. According to the invention, the timepiece movement includes a magnetic polarising device (15) for said balance spring for maintaining a predefined state of polarisation in the balance spring (7) and including permanent magnetising means which forms a magnetic field in the plane of the balance spring so as to totally or almost totally magnetically saturate the balance spring (7) in the absence of an external magnetic field. The invention concerns the field of timepieces.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to timepiece movements with low magnetic susceptibility, and more particularly to movements of this type including balance spring resonators. Background technique [0002] In the technical field of balance spring resonators, the main drawback of existing compensating alloys for hairsprings based on iron-nickel or iron-cobalt is that such alloys are very sensitive to magnetic fields. Therefore, a watch that is well set in the absence of a magnetic field may run faster or slower by tens of seconds after being affected by an external magnetic field. The magnetic field radiation we are exposed to in our daily life is increasing day by day. [0003] In order to overcome these drawbacks, alternative balance springs based on paramagnetic materials (including, for example, niobium) or on diamagnetic materials (including, for example, silicon) have been developed. However, these balance springs are very difficult to develop and e...
