Abstract

The invention discloses a method for promoting natural egg reproduction of common carp and crucian carp. The method comprises the steps of making spawning nests with a natural herbaceous plant material for eggs of common carp and crucian carp to be adhered to; placing the spawning nests into a water area at the proper time; after the spawning nests are placed well, installing underwater lights in water below the spawning nests at intervals of 50 meters, wherein the underwater lights are used for inducing common carp and crucian carp to enter the spawning nests to lay eggs for reproduction; and every 3-5 days, spraying a proper amount of salt solution or potassium permanganate solution onto the surfaces of the spawning nests, so that the eggs can be adhered more firmly and embryonic development of healthy fertilized eggs can be protected. With the adoption of the method, common carp and crucian carp resources in lakes and reservoirs can be proliferated effectively. The spawning nests and a corresponding technique provided by the invention are simple in technology and low in cost, and no advanced facility instruments are required.
