Abstract

A novel technology for controlling an M number by a second throat comprises a control device arranged on a wind tunnel body and a control method thereof. The control device arranged on the wind tunnel body comprises a left wall plate and a right wall plate both with three-sheet adjustable structures as well as an upper gate finger and a lower gate finger, wherein the upper gate finger and the lower gate finger are arranged on the left wall plate and the right wall plate. The left wall plate and the right wall plate are both the three-sheet adjustable structures; the gate fingers are respectively arranged on the left wall plate and the right wall plate and used for finely adjusting the M number, enhancing the M number control precision and making up M number variation caused by model attack angle variation. The control method comprises the following steps: first, adjusting the left wall plate and a right wall plate with the three-sheet adjustable structures to corresponding positions according to M numbers of different experiments; and then finely adjusting the M numbers of the experiment sections through telescopic moving gate fingers of a motor on the upper wall plate and the lower wall plate in the wind tunnel operation process. According to the invention, rapid adjusting response of the second throat is enhanced, the loss of the second throat is reduced, reasonable design is obtained, and requirements on higher adjusting speed and control precision are satisfied.
