Embodiment 1

[0027] The invention proposes an OpenFlow out-of-band networking method based on an in-band virtual channel to establish an OpenFlow network. Specifically, establishing an OpenFlow network includes establishing two parts, a data plane and a control plane. Establishing the data plane means establishing the OpenFlow physical topology. After the data plane is established, the control plane is established. Establishing a control plane means deploying a control channel between the controller and the OpenFlow switching device, so as to realize the centralized control of the entire OpenFlow network by the controller. like figure 1 and figure 2 As shown, the method includes:

[0028] S1. Establish a data plane;

[0029] S2, analyzing the physical topology of the data plane, assuming that there are n switching devices in the entire data plane, and consisting of L (1≤L

Embodiment 2

[0035] The present invention proposes an OpenFlow out-of-band networking method based on an in-band virtual channel. In this embodiment, image 3 In order to illustrate the process of OpenFlow networking based on the present invention, the process of establishing the control plane is mainly described. like image 3 As shown, all switching devices are OpenFlowAPs, and these APs support OpenFlow by installing OpenWRT firmware.

[0036] exist image 3 In , the physical topology has only one resource cluster, that is, all APs form a connected graph. In order to establish a control plane, a physical link needs to be selected in the physical topology as a communication channel in the control plane. like image 3 As shown, the dotted line represents the control plane, and the solid line represents the data plane. Add the corresponding network card of the controller and the ports at both ends of each link in the control plane to the same VLAN, and at the same time label the data ...

Abstract

The invention provides an OpenFlow out-of-band networking method based on an in-band virtual channel. The method comprises the steps of 1, constructing a data plane; 2, analyzing a physical topological structure of the data plane, and selecting a set of switching equipment from each resource cluster to be directly connected with a controller; 3, in each resource cluster, constructing a tree connected with each set of switching equipment in the resource cluster by taking the selected switching equipment as a root node, and obtaining L trees; and 4, constructing the virtual channel in all physical links of a control plane, and obtaining the control plane based on the in-band virtual channel, wherein the physical links comprise the L trees and a control link through which the root node is directly connected with the controller. By adopting an in-band control mode, resource consumption is reduced, and robustness is guaranteed; and furthermore, by adopting a virtual channel mode, the control plane is isolated from the data plane, so that the security is guaranteed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the Internet field, in particular to an OpenFlow out-of-band networking method based on an in-band virtual channel. Background technique [0002] OpenFlow is a new network experiment technology based on flow classification deployed on switches. Its core is to classify network data flows according to flow tables, and process various data flows separately according to established rules. OpenFlow technology can realize the coexistence of the existing Internet and the new experimental network in the future, so it has attracted extensive attention from academic circles and industries at home and abroad, and plays an important role in the field of future network research. [0003] In recent years, OpenFlow networks have been widely used in the construction of network experiment platforms at home and abroad, such as GENI (Global Environment for Network Innovations, GENI), FIRE (Future Internet Research & Experimentation, FIRE), TUNIE ...
