The self-tapping plug comprises a plug shell of which the front end is provided with a splicing segment rotatably spliced with an adaptive socket before the plug and the adaptive socket are spliced in place; a connection helmet is sleeved on the plug shell; a nut screw rod mechanism is directly formed between the connection helmet and the plug shell or through a thread bushing matched with one of the connection helmet and the plug shell in a stop rotation way and matched with the other one the connection helmet and the plug shell in a threaded way; the connection helmet is provided with a convex key clamped in an annular groove on the shell of the adaptive socket at the front end of the inner wall face so that the connection helmet and the adaptive socket are matched in an anti-channeling way in the front and rear direction; and the convex key is provided with an outer surface matched with the annular groove bottom or wall in a gliding or clearance manner so that the connection helmet can rotate relative to the adaptive socket.
