The online monitoring system comprises a monitoring unit, a data acquiring unit and a computer; the monitoring unit comprises a first temperature sensor, a first pressure sensor, a second temperature sensor, a second pressure sensor, a flow sensor and a third pressure sensor, wherein the first temperature sensor and the first pressure sensor are arranged on a condenser circulated cooling water inlet pipeline, the second temperature sensor and the second pressure sensor are arranged on a condenser circulated cooling water return pipeline, the flow sensor is arranged on the water return pipeline, and the third pressure sensor is arranged at a steam inlet of a condenser. The method is used for calculating the pressure of the condenser with corrected data acquired by the online monitoring system and evaluating the performance of the condenser.
