Abstract

The invention relates to an insecticidal composition containing flonicamid and pymetrozine. The insecticidal composition formed by the binary mixing of the flonicamid and the pymetrozine which serve as active ingredients, wherein a weight ratio of the two active ingredients is (1-80):(85-1), and preferably is (5-40):(75-10); the total mass percentage content of the active ingredients in the insecticidal composition is between 1 and 90 percent, and preferably is between 8 and 70 percent, and the rest is auxiliary ingredients which are permitted to be used and acceptable in pesticides. The insecticidal composition can be prepared into aqueous emulsion, missible oil, a suspending agent, granules, wettable powder and water dispersible granules, and is mainly used for preventing and controlling insect pests of aphididae, aleyrodid, cicadellidae and delphacidae.
