Abstract

The invention discloses a method for establishing a path in a wavelength division network, a communication node and a communication system. The method comprises that: a source node establishes a first path to a host node; the source node receives failure information from an intermediate node of the first path, wherein the failure information comprises the available wavelength information of an outgoing link of the intermediate node, and the outgoing link is not consistent in wavelength with an upstream link of the intermediate node on the first path; and the source node calculates a second path to the host node according to the available wavelength information of the outgoing link of the intermediate node. In the invention, in a service path establishment process, if discovering that the link does not have available wavelength resources, the intermediate node returns detailed available wavelength information causing path congestion to the source node. Therefore, the source node can calculates a new path by using the available wavelength information to reduce a service blocking rate.
