Abstract

The invention relates to a fixed equational indexing head, which comprises a base, a spindle box and a spindle. An indexing shaft is rotatably arranged on the base; the rotating axis of the indexing shaft is vertical to the rotating axis of the spindle; an indexing gear is arranged on the indexing shaft in a check spin way; the indexing gear is provided with gear teeth and gear slots for indexing; a spindle box locking mechanism is arranged on the base and comprises a first spring bolt; the first spring bolt is provided with a locating locking head for blocking and releasing the indexing gear; the shape of the locating locking head and the shape of the gear slot or the gear tooth are complementary; and the spindle box is rotatably arranged on the base in a vertical plane through the indexing shaft. With the fixed equational indexing head, when vertical and horizontal processing are needed to respectively implement on a workpiece, the locating locking head of the first spring bolt is moved away from the position of the corresponding gear tooth or the corresponding gear slot, then the spindle box can be moved to rotate in the vertical plane, and when the spindle box is rotated to a set position, the locating locking head is blocked into the corresponding gear slot or locking the corresponding gear tooth, so that the spindle can be located, therefore, the operating process is simplified.
