Embodiment Construction

[0024] The present invention will be further illustrated below through an implementation case.

[0025] The embodiment of the present invention provides a remote real-time monitoring system for ship safety based on WSN and INMARSAT-F. The design of the present invention divides the monitoring area of the ship level by level, so that the wireless sensor network is layered to correspond to the divided areas of each level, and the nodes in the network are numbered according to their location characteristics. The network uses a hierarchical tree-based architecture, in which nodes are divided into different layers, the smallest sub-network internal nodes of the network are connected in a star-shaped manner, and the central node is responsible for forwarding the data of its members to the sink node .

[0026]This peer-to-peer network allows data to be transmitted across the network via multi-hop routing. The terminal of this system is installed on the bridge to store and receive...

Abstract

The invention discloses a system for remotely monitoring the safety of a ship in real time based on a wireless sensor network (WSN) and an international maritime satellite-fleet (INMARSAT-F). The whole system consists of a ship wireless sensor network, a ship-borne network terminal, an INMARSAT-F station, a maritime satellite and a ground station, wherein the ship wireless sensor network detects each parameter related to the safety of the ship by sensors arranged all over cabins and bottom of the ship; the ship-borne network terminal is used for transmitting, calculating and processing data detected by the network; and the INMARSAT-F is used for transmitting necessary information to the ground station by the maritime satellite. The system can remotely monitor the state of the ship in real time and acquire the related data of a monitored area in real time to discover hidden dangers of the ship as early as possible and take measures to prevent the hidden dangers before the hidden dangers occur, thereby greatly increasing the safety coefficient of the ship, better ensuring the safety of personnel and properties of the ship and better ensuring the aims of safer sailing and cleaner ocean are fulfilled.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication, in particular to the technical fields of wireless sensor network application technology and maritime satellite communication. Background technique [0002] After more than 20 years of development as a mobile satellite communication system, INMARSAT (International Maritime Satellite) has provided various mobile satellite communication services for users in the sea, land and aviation fields, and played an important role in actual communication. [0003] INMARSAT-Fleet (a state-of-the-art mobile satellite communication system launched by the International Maritime Satellite Organization, usually abbreviated as INMARSAT-F) system is put into use, integrating the mobile integrated service data network ISDN (Integrated Service Data Network) and the mobile data packet service MPDS (Mobile Packet Data Service) technology is used for maritime mobile communications, and maritime users can ea...
