Abstract

A foundation for enabling anchoring of a wind turbine tower (106) thereto by means of replaceable through-bolts (120), the foundation comprising: a foundation sole (116) with a set of through-holes (118) for accommodating the through-bolts (120), wherein the through-holes (118) extend from an upper surface to a lower surface of the foundation sole (116); a workspace (126) arranged beneath the foundation sole (116) for enabling access to lower ends the through-bolts (120) when arranged in the through-holes (118); and a passage (128) allowing access to the workspace (126) from a location outside an area of the foundation sole (116) to be covered by the tower (106).
