The invention provides a method for realizing an unceasing call of a mobile terminal across base stations in a cluster system, wherein, the realizing process thereof comprises two parts: one is the stage of establishing the call across base stations and the other is the stage of switching base stations by the mobile terminal. The stage for establishing the call across base stations consists of three processes, respectively the cluster controller process, the networking server process and the mobile terminal process. And whether base stations are switched is decided after the mobile terminal is put into the stage of switching base stations by the mobile terminal in the call process, The method can ensure unceasing call of the mobile terminal across the base stations, lower the difficultiesof implementing the system and the mobile terminal, use a control channel to broadcast information of adjacent base stations for switching the mobile terminal across base stations without influencingthe voice quality.
