The invention selects natural Chinese traditional medicine with sweet-scented smell and sterilizing and bacteriostasis effect as the raw material to prepare the air cleaning bacteriostat which not only can clean air and lustrate mosquitoes and flies, but also can prevent diseases, can replace chemosynthetic air freshener and desinsection aerosol and is widely applied to places where crowd is dense and cross infection is easily caused such as hotels, official buildings, resident rooms, armies, schools, hospitals, saloon cars, and the like.
