Embodiment

[0083] The flow structure of the web page text personalized search method based on eyeball tracking of the present invention is as follows: figure 1 shown. The personalized sorting system includes two parts, the client and the server. The client obtains the attention time of the user through 20, an eye tracking device, and the server includes 30, a sample collection module, 40, correction of attention time, 50, a user database, and 60 . Document database, 70. query interface, 80. traditional engine module, 90. document preprocessing module, 100. document comparison module, 110. attention time prediction module, 120. sorting module.

[0084] The eye tracking device 20 uses an advanced eye movement capture device to analyze the position of the document where the user's gaze is currently located and the user's attention time on the document. In this example, the eye tracking device uses a common camera (Logitech Quickcam Notebook Pro) with an open source eye tracking system open...

Abstract

The invention discloses a webpage text individualized searching method based on eyeball tracking, which comprises the following steps: 1) sample information of webpage text concerned time of a user is obtained by the use of an eyeball tracking device; 2) a user concerned time sample obtained is corrected; 3) an appropriate text similarity algorithm is dynamically selected by the application of a decision tree for an unknown webpage text; 4) the user concerned time of the unknown webpage text is predicted based on the text similarity; and 5) individualized webpage text searching results are generated by the use of the user concerned time and by the combination of traditional searching technology. The webpage text individualized searching method based on eyeball tracking effectively obtains individual reading interest of the user through the eyeball tracking device and combines the favorite of the user with the webpage text searching process, thus rendering the final webpage text searching ranking results to be closer to the ideal ranking expected by the user.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of computer search, in particular to an eye-tracking-based personalized search method for web page text. Background technique [0002] Existing personalization engines rely on user feedback, which can be divided into explicit feedback and implicit feedback. From both types of feedback, we can obtain user preference characteristics (Salton & Buckley 1990; White, Jose, & Ruthven 2001; White, Ruthven, & Jose 2002). But users are generally unwilling to provide explicit feedback, so more and more researches now turn to implicit feedback (Granka, Joachims, & Gay 2004; Guan & Cutrell 2007; Fu 2007). Studies have shown that implicit feedback can well reflect the user's search intention (Fox et al.2005; Dou, Song, & Wen 2007; Fu 2007). And user preferences obtained from a large number of implicit feedback are often better than explicit Feedback is more reliable. [0003] Query history: In modern research, the most frequentl...
