Abstract

The invention provides an input system used for mobile search and a method thereof. The input system comprises an input module, a database, a processing module and an output module, wherein the input module is used for inputting at least one character code corresponding to a specific word and inputting a speech corresponding to the word; the database comprises a vocabulary base and an acoustical model, and the vocabulary base comprises a plurality of pairs of words with different search weights based on an order list and the order list; the processing module uses an input algorithm for screening out a first number of alternative words in line with the corresponding character code from the vocabulary base, and uses a speech recognition algorithm to compare the speech with the first number of alternative words through an acoustical model, thus screening out a second number of alternative words arranged in a specific order based on the search weights; and the output module displays the second number of the alternative words arranged in the specific order so as to select out the specific word.
