Embodiment Construction

[0017] An embodiment of the invention is schematically illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figures 1a and 1b illustrate how elementary particles 301, 302, 303 can be placed on elevations 102 representing electron shells, while Figure 2 illustrates Interactive atomic model when the atomic model is not used and the elementary particles 301 , 302 , 303 are stored in the compartment 201 of the housing 200 . FIG. 3 illustrates additional grouped electron shells disposed on the bottom end 202 of the housing 200 .

[0018] The invention according to FIGS. 1 and 2 provides a housing 200 with a cover 100 , wherein an upper side 101 of the cover accommodates an electron shell 102 and a recessed annular space 103 in the center. The depressed annular space 103 represents the nucleus. Elementary particles are stored in housing 200 , protons 302 , electrons 301 , and neutrons 303 . Elementary particles are placed in the concave annular space 103 or on the electron shell 102...

Abstract

The present invention provides an interactive atomic model that comprises a compartment (201) that is enclosed by walls and a lid (100) that can be opened, and at least two elementary particle models (301,.302, 303) which are contained in the compartment (201). The lid (100) has an atomic model surface (101) that defines a centre area (103) and a number of closed orbits (102), whereby said centre area (103) defines resting positions that are well defined in space for at least one of said elementary particle models (301, 302, 303) and said closed orbits (102) defines resting positions that are well defined along the respective closed orbit or at least one of said elementary particle models (301 , 302, 303). The interactive atomic model thereby enables simple and effective understanding for the constitution of atoms.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an interactive atomic model suitable for showing the various combinations of elementary particles forming atoms or ions. Background technique [0002] For many people, it is difficult to really understand what atoms look like, how their number of elementary particles changes, and how they transform into ions. The composition of atoms and ions is currently illustrated using two-dimensional drawings and descriptions. However, such teachings are virtually impossible to benefit those with certain disabilities, and are of no use to those with impaired vision or hearing. Understanding the big picture in chemistry teaching is difficult without first having a complete understanding of how atoms are made up. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the teaching method of atomic composition. [0003] One way for people to really understand how atoms work is to play with the different parts themselves. Laboratory materials allow ...
