Benefits of technology

This patent is about a cradled handle for a vessel that can hold a mobile communication device. The handle has flanges that keep the device in place and prevent it from slipping or pivting back up. The handle can be locked in place to hold the device upright or sideways, allowing for convenient viewing angles. The handle is also affordable to manufacture. Overall, the technology allows for a convenient and secure way to hold a mobile device while drinking from a vessel.

Problems solved by technology

This is making it more difficult to take time to hydrate or communicate.
Similar to hydrating, it can be difficult to find time, or a place to operate and view the mobile communication device.
The problem with these means is that they do not allow for simultaneous hydrating and support of the mobile communication device.

Abstract

A communication device holding and liquid dispensing apparatus dispenses a liquid for consumption from a vessel, and retains a mobile communication device in an upright or side position for operation and viewing. The apparatus provides a vessel, a detachable cap, and a pivotally extendable and retractable cradled handle. The cradled handle is defined by a curved plane that fits the palm of the hand while drinking from the vessel, and also forms a supportive surface for retaining the communication device. The cradled handle has multiple perimeter flanges that retain the communication device in an upright or side position on the cradled handle, inhibit slippage by the communication device, and restrict pivotal retraction by the cradled handle while retaining the communication device. The cradled handle includes a handle latch member that forms a snap fit relationship with a corresponding cap latch member to fasten cradled handle in the retracted position.

Description

CROSS REFERENCE OF RELATED APPLICATIONS[0001]This application claims the benefits of Korean application No. 10-2018-0002611, filed Jan. 9, 2018 and entitled Water Bottle, which national application is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.FIELD OF THE INVENTION[0002]The present invention relates generally to a communication device holding and liquid dispensing apparatus. More so, the present invention relates to an apparatus that dispenses a liquid for consumption from a vessel having a cap and a pivotally extendable cradled handle defined by a curved plane and perimeter flanges; and further retains a mobile communication device in an upright or side position on the cradled handle, whereby the flanges inhibit slippage by the mobile communication device, and restrict pivotal retraction by the cradled handle while retaining the mobile communication device.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0003]The following background information may present examples of specific aspects of the pr...
