Abstract

A loose fitting hair restraining band is configured to fit loosely on the head to restrain a portion of the hair without disrupting the natural hairstyle. The band is defined by a generally arced shape that creates an inward tension. The inward tension helps maintain the band on the head despite the generally loose fit.
