Abstract

The electronic judging device for military chess is powered with 3V metal lithium battery. Each of the chess men is mounted with resistor of different resistance, and when it is set in designated position, some circuit is connected to produce two voltage dividing signals depending on the chess man. The electronic judging device is provided with upper and lower voltage limit circuit to eliminate the effects of varying battery voltage and circuit element error. One 8-bit MCU monochip computer is used to generate ramp signal, and the ramp signal is compared with the 4 input signals in the 4 comparators of LM339 chip to output 4 pulse signals. The widths of the 4 pulse signals are measured with the monochip computer to obtain 4 values and the 4 values are compared to obtain the relative rank of the two chess men. The relative rank is displayed with LED. The present invention is used to replace judger.
